I choose to lay down every unnecessary burden and refuse to be ruled by stress, for I trust in the peace that God has placed within me. I care for this body and mind He has given me, walking in wisdom and practicing what is good and life-giving. I lift my eyes beyond the troubles of this present moment and fix my heart on the hope and future He has prepared for me. In stillness, I draw near to Him and find a quiet place of peace within my soul. And I rest in this truth: because God dwells within me, all is well.
What God has placed within us
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV
Amp verse
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23 AMP
